Ledaal was built as a party house for the Kjelland family in 1803. Many big parties were held here for the rich and famous people from Stavanger and abroad. The furniture is from the rococo, Louis XVI, empire and biedermeier style. As well as being a museum, Ledaal functions as home for the king when he visits Stavanger. Surrounding the building is a nice park.
